Have an early Breakfast, and then go for an optional Entebbe town drive or visit Uganda wildlife education centre before having early lunch (cost not included) in town then after transfer to Nakiwogo on the shores of Lake Victoria in time for the ferry leaving at 1400hrs for your transfer to the Ssesse Islands on Lake Victoria arriving in the early evening. Morning forests walk in search of the primates, birds and other wildlife. Later take an optional fishing trip on the lake where it is possible to catch an amazing 150-pound Nile Perch!!! In the Morning after breakfast, transfer by ferry to Bukakata in Masaka then proceed on a good tarmac road to Lake Mburo National Park in Mbarara. After Lunch spend the afternoon at Leisure. After an early tea or coffee, you will go for a game drive in this park which hosts Zebra, Impala, Topi, Cape buffalo and other Plains game or a game walk where a ranger guide will take you through a Bush walking experience through the African Wilderness. The walk involves moving through the Savannah grasslands stalking the unsuspecting Zebra and other wildlife, through the Hyena’s Den, on through the swamp and ending at the Lake. Have lunch at the camp then proceed for a boat trip which takes you close to the Hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife on Lake Mburo. Return to the lodge in the evening. After breakfast start for Bwindi impenetrable national park. You drive through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their long horns. Have lunch on the way (cost not included) then ascend into Kigezi Highlands known as the “Switzerland of Africa” with terraced farming and mountain scenery arriving Bwindi later in the evening. It’s D’ day! Early morning breakfast; proceed to the park headquarters for briefing. You will later be assembled in your groups and taken to your starting points where (carrying packed lunch available from the lodge at extra cost) you will go into the park guided by a ranger and begin your expedition. Tracking the gorillas can take 2 – 6 hours and can be a very inspirational, worthwhile lifetime experience due to the terrain and varied movements of these awesome primates. You will be spend time with these great and shy apes. You will return to your lodge and simply relax the rest of the evening or you may opt to have a guided village walk or visit the Local Batwa Community. You will depart Bwindi driving through volcanic formations of the western rift valley towards Queen Elizabeth National park. The descent reveals a stunning panorama of Lakes Edward and George amidst game-filled plains. In the evening go for a short game drive before returning to your overnight accommodation. After a very early morning cup of tea/coffee, depart for a game drive in search for the different animal species Lions are probably hunting around this time. Later, return to the lodge. In the afternoon, take a 2-hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. This is believed to have the largest concentration of Hippo in Africa, a paradise of local and rare migrant birds of over 600species among these include African skimmer, Chapin’s flycatcher, Pink-backed pelicans, Papyrus canary, and the rare Shoebill stork, from Europe and Asia, other animals like elephants and Buffalo can also be viewed here “quenching their thirst.” Later return to your preferred choice of accommodation. Depart Queen Elizabeth for Kibale approximately 2hours drive arriving in time for lunch (cost not included.) In the afternoon, you will be guided for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest, as well as get a chance to see other species like the Grey-Throated Flycatcher, Masked & Black-Capped Apalis', Chestnut-Winged Starling, Orange -Tufted & Tiny Sunbirds, a good infrastructure and variety of interesting activities which makes this a worthwhile destination. Leave Kibale then passing through Fort portal which rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Have lunch on the way (cost not included) and proceed the long drive via Hoima to Murchison Falls National Park arriving later in the evening and proceed to your accommodation and relax the rest of the evening. After an early tea/coffee, depart for a morning game drive to the rolling plains where you will view numerous game like Hartebeest, Lions, Buffaloes, Primates, Birds, Giraffe and Elephants. Return to the lodge for breakfast, and have the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch, go for an afternoon 3-hour launch cruise to the bottom of the falls where you’ll see the Nile empty into Lake Albert amidst the numerous wildlife such as huge Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, birds and others. After your morning breakfast, proceed to the top of the falls! Marvel at the Nile compressing as you will feel the rock literally tremble as the whole Nile River is squeezed through a 7 Metre crevice to thunder 45 metres below in a series of cascades creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the Murchison falls.The sight of the world’s longest River Nile gashing and plunging through the narrow crevice, then winding its way through the park is an unforgettable experience. Have lunch returning to Kampala arriving later in the evening.
